Her show career has already seen several notable wins, and she is now AKC Champion pointed. At just six months and two days old, Popper proved her mettle by competing in a Working Certificate test, demonstrating her ability to retrieve birds on land and in water.   She passed this test again in 2024.  Popper loves playing ball, engaging with her Labrador friends, and relaxing at home.

Incidentally, Popper’s sire became the #1 Labrador in 2023, with several Best in Show wins, bringing the Labrador breed into the spotlight.

In 2023, Hugh brought home an impressive 17 Best of Breed Awards despite limited showing, ultimately earning a Top 20 ranking in the country by the esteemed Labrador Retriever Club, the AKC parent club for our breed.

Charlotte’s loyalty and affectionate nature make her an exceptional Labrador. Charlotte loves to fetch the ball, go for car rides, and play with the grand-kids, embodying the perfect Labrador temperament.

“Star,” at just 13 months of age, has already achieved multiple Best of Breed wins. She is truly stunning, with superior movement and a lovely temperament. Star is not only a joy to own but also a delight to live with. Her presence brightens every day. I was so thrilled with this breeding that I decided to repeat it, resulting in three full siblings to Star, each promising to follow in her exceptional footsteps.

From day one, I had my eye on Taylor. At 8 weeks old, she was put on a table for evaluation, and she proved to be absolutely stunning. This is a dream puppy if ever there was one. She has the looks, the attitude, and her movement is to die for.

Taylor is a special girl with a spark that lights up the room. Her vibrant personality and charm make her an instant favorite wherever she goes. She will be out in the show ring soon, and I expect she will be every bit the knockout that her big sister Star is. Watch for her in 2024!

An up-and-coming star in 2024, Goldie is already making waves in the show world. She has competed in a few shows in the 4-6 month classes, placing first and earning Puppy Group 4. Her early successes have showcased her potential and promise.

Goldie has also earned three Best of Breed awards at the prestigious Lost Coast Kennel Club in Ferndale, California, further solidifying her status as a rising star. With her stunning looks and impressive demeanor, she is proving to be an accomplished show dog.

I look forward to continuing her show career and watching her grow into her full potential. Keep an eye out for Goldie in 2024, as she is set to dazzle the show ring and capture many hearts.

A multiple “Best in Specialty” winner, MBISS GRCH Hyspire Fade to Black, was standing at stud. Through my breeding program, I produced a beautiful bitch named CH Bazurto’s A Vegas Tourist Attraction, also known as Tori.

Faye’s breeding was a repeat of the pairing between these two champions and was the last litter produced by my beautiful Tori. I truly believe this second litter surpasses the first, which is quite remarkable. Faye is now the beloved pet and show dog of my daughter Kyara.

Miranda is not only gorgeous but also a superior mover with a lovely temperament. She is a joy to own and live with, bringing sweetness and charm to our kennel. We are excited to see her continue to develop and shine in the show ring. Her gentle nature and playful spirit make her a favorite among everyone she meets. We are confident that Miranda will continue to impress as she grows and matures, embodying the best qualities of her breed.

I believe Corey is going to play a significant role in maintaining and enhancing the high standards of my breeding program. His potential is evident, and I’m confident he will excel in the show ring. Corey is not just a promising show dog; he’s a testament to the quality and dedication that goes into every breeding decision at Bazurto Kennels.

Boots boasts wonderful conformation and a happy, easygoing temperament. Like his dam, Boots is highly motivated by treats, making training a joy. His playful and friendly nature endears him to everyone he meets, making him a beloved member of our kennel.

Boots is the perfect complement to my breeding program, and I am excited to see him shine in the show ring. He will be starting his show career soon, and I have high expectations for him. With his impressive qualities and charming personality, Boots is sure to make a significant impact.

What can I say? 85 pounds of pure perfection! Belushi has already achieved remarkable success, winning Winners Dog at the Silver State Kennel Club show in Las Vegas, NV. He took a 4-point major under Ms. Beth Sweigart and a 5-point major under Mr. CP Herendeen, all at just 6 months and 6 days of age! Belushi has now retired, leaving behind a legacy of excellence. We are incredibly proud of his achievements and grateful for the joy and prestige he brought to our kennel.
