In 2010, I brought home a puppy from Gingerbred Labradors and named her Harper, formally known as Gingerbred Music and Lyrics. Harper quickly became a cherished member of our family. When she turned two, we decided to breed her with our boy, Belushi, in hopes of continuing our show lines.

In the early hours of New Year’s Eve 2013, a star was born. From the very beginning, Rosie stood out. As the puppies grew, it became clear that Rosie was not just our keeper but the future foundation of our breeding program. Rosie excelled in many AKC events, earning numerous titles. Her wonderful temperament made her beloved by everyone who met her.

Although Rosie has passed, she will forever be in our hearts. Her legacy lives on in our breeding program and in the love she gave us every day. The joy and companionship she brought into our lives were immeasurable, and her influence continues to guide our breeding choices. Rosie was more than just a show dog; she was family, a source of endless love and happiness. Her memory inspires us to uphold the high standards she set and to cherish each moment with our beloved dogs.
